The Role’s Key Responsibilities and Tasks
As an eDOer, you will have clear objectives, great challenges and a clear overview of how your work contributes to the global company project and its customers. As a Senior Mixed-Methods UX Researcher within the team, you will be in charge of:
- Stakeholder and Executive Influence – work closely with executive leadership, product teams, and design to define research priorities and ensure insights drive product strategy
- End-to-End Mixed Methods Research – Plan and conduct qualitative and quantitative studies, including usability testing, surveys, behavioral analytics, and beyond, to inform the accommodation booking experience
- Research Advocacy & Visibility – Champion UX research across the organization, ensuring findings are actionable, accessible, and embedded in decision making
- Cross-Functional Collaboration – Partner with Product, Data, Design, and Engineering teams to align research insights with business objectives and optimize the user experience
- Impactful Storytelling – Translate complex research into compelling, data driven narrative that influence executive decisions and product roadmaps
- Process Optimization and Research Operations – Streamline research workflows, enhance research visibility, and drive efficiencies in research execution
- Implement AI-driven automation – Help us optimize data analysis, synthesis, and reporting
- Mentorship – Support and guide product designers in defining research questions, selecting methodologies, and interpreting findings
What we’re looking for:
Must-Have Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of user research experience in e-commerce, digital products, or SaaS environments.
- Deep expertise in mixed methods research, including qualitative (e.g., interviews, field studies, usability testing) and quantitative (e.g., surveys, A/B testing, behavioral data) methodologies.
- Proven experience partnering with executives and senior stakeholders, translating research into high-impact business recommendations.
- Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in data analysis and synthesis across multiple sources (e.g., user research, business intelligence, customer analytics).
- Experience integrating research into agile product development and influencing strategic decisions.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills—able to present insights clearly and persuasively to non-research audiences.
- Passion for advocating for UX research and user-centered decision-making at scale.
Technical Skillset:
- Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, STATA, SPSS, or equivalent for data analysis
- Solid grounding in statistical methods (e.g., regression analysis, ANOVA, hypothesis testing, etc.)
- Familiarity with survey tools (e.g., Qualtrics, Forsta) and data visualization tools (e.g., Looker Studio, Tableau, etc.)
- Familiarity with managing and analyzing large datasets in cloud storage platforms like AWS or BigQuery
Bonus Skills & Experience:
- Proficiency with statistical tools (i.e., SPSS, R, Python, Excel, etc.) for advanced data analysis.
- Experience with AI-driven research automation and machine learning applications in UX.
- Background in experimental research, eye-tracking, or biometrics within a UX lab setting.
- Fluency in Spanish, German, French, or Italian (our business language is English).
